Pacific College of Health and Science stands as a beacon for those pursuing careers in holistic health and integrated sciences. With a rich legacy rooted in traditional Oriental medicine, the college has evolved into a dynamic multi-campus institution, dedicated to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals across diverse fields, including acupuncture, massage therapy, and broader health sciences.

Its journey began in 1986 in San Diego, California, founded by Jack Miller and a dedicated team, following the closure of the California Acupuncture College. Their mission was clear: to perpetuate the profound teachings of traditional Oriental medicine. Initially offering certificates in this ancient practice and massage therapy, the college quickly established itself as a pioneer in the field, further solidified by hosting the first Pacific Symposium in 1989, an annual event fostering innovation in Oriental medicine.

Demonstrating its commitment to academic excellence and expansion, the college earned accreditation in 1990 to offer a master's degree in traditional Oriental medicine. Responding to growing demand and regulatory changes, it strategically expanded its footprint, opening a campus in New York City's vibrant Flatiron District in 1993, and later a third campus in Chicago, Illinois, in 2000. This strategic growth has allowed it to serve a wider student body across different regions, providing specialized education in health.

In a significant evolution in January 2020, the institution rebranded as the Pacific College of Health and Science. This change reflected its commitment to integrating and expanding into broader healthcare disciplines such as nursing and various massage therapy education programs, signaling a future-forward approach to comprehensive health education for its approximately 1200 students.
