Panola College

Panola College, a vibrant community college in East Texas, has been a cornerstone of local education since its founding in 1947. The college's journey began with its establishment on June 14, 1947, officially opening its doors to 55 charter students on January 19, 1948. From its initial permanent buildings erected in 1949, Panola College has steadily grown, demonstrating a continuous dedication to expanding its reach and offerings. By 1995, its designated service area significantly broadened, reflecting its increasing regional importance. This growth culminated in a robust enrollment of 2,584 students by the fall of 2012, showcasing its enduring appeal and impact.
