The college quickly grew, erecting its first permanent buildings by 1949. Demonstrating its commitment to regional development, Panola College expanded its designated service area in 1995 to encompass Harrison, Marion, and Shelby counties, further solidifying its role as a key educational provider in the region.

Panola's reach extends even further, proudly serving residents of neighboring Louisiana parishes and supporting United States Air Force members stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base.
