Phillips Theological Seminary

The seminary's rich history began in 1906 as a vital part of Phillips University, initially known as the College of the Bible. Over the decades, it evolved, gaining accreditation from the Association of Theological Schools in 1951 and transitioning into The Graduate Seminary of Phillips University. This journey culminated in its incorporation as an independent institution in 1987, solidifying its unique identity and mission. Its relocation to Tulsa in 1997 and the acquisition of a donated campus in 2002 marked a new chapter, establishing a modern home for its transformative work.
