The college's journey began modestly as an extension of the local public school system before achieving independent governance in 1950. Demonstrating a strong commitment to growth and modernization, Ranger College has seen significant expansion in recent years. In 2010, it broadened its reach by opening additional campuses in Early and Stephenville, making quality education more accessible across the region. This expansion, coupled with an impressive 46% increase in student enrollment between Fall 2011 (1736 students) and Fall 2024 (2544 students), underscores the growing demand for its programs. Further solidifying its future, a $10 million bond approved in 2016 transformed the main campus with new buildings and renovations completed by 2020, ensuring a contemporary and inspiring learning environment.
