Riverside City College

Riverside City College (RCC) stands as a beacon of educational opportunity in Southern California, a public community college with a rich legacy dating back to 1916. Serving over 20,600 students, RCC is a cornerstone of the Riverside Community College District, which enrolls about 21,000 students each semester. The college offers clear pathways to associate degrees, seamless transfer to four-year universities, and valuable career certificates designed to prepare students for a diverse workforce.

The college's journey began in 1916 as Riverside Junior College, initially sharing a site with Riverside Polytechnic High School. Its growth quickly led to the construction of its first dedicated campus buildings in 1924, gradually expanding its footprint. After Riverside Poly relocated in 1965, RCC gained full control of its Magnolia property, solidifying its independent identity. Over the years, the institution's name evolved, becoming Riverside Community College in the mid-1980s before ultimately returning to Riverside City College in 2008, a testament to its enduring connection to the city.

Academically, RCC boasts a robust array of programs spanning liberal arts and science, athletics, and vocational education.
