Santa Fe Community College

Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) stands as a testament to community vision and educational dedication, having been established in 1983 with crucial support from the New Mexico State Legislature. From its initial classes held in various temporary locations, SFCC quickly grew, laying the groundwork for a permanent campus that would become a hub for learning and development in the Santa Fe area. This public community college has continuously evolved to meet the needs of its students and the region, consistently expanding its facilities and program offerings.

Academically, SFCC has strategically invested in areas vital for workforce development and innovation. The college boasts dedicated facilities such as a technology and occupation lab, an instructional technology center, a health and sciences building, and a trades and technology center, equipping students with practical skills for a diverse job market. Notably, SFCC also launched a sustainability program in 2005, showcasing a forward-thinking approach to environmental stewardship and education that prepares students for emerging green careers.
