Sattler College

Sattler College, nestled in the heart of Boston, stands out as a distinctive private institution deeply rooted in the historic Christian faith. The college's journey began in 2016, a vision brought to life by Dr. Finny Kuruvilla, a distinguished former research fellow at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. Dr. Kuruvilla envisioned a college offering a comprehensive, first-class education at an accessible cost, challenging the norms of traditional higher education. Named in honor of the 16th-century Anabaptist Christian martyr Michael Sattler, the institution officially opened its doors to its first class in the fall of 2018, quickly earning national accreditation in 2021 and celebrating its inaugural graduating class in May 2022.

Sattler's academic approach is both innovative and practical. While operating from a modern urban campus on the 17th floor of a downtown Boston high-rise, overlooking the Charles River and Massachusetts State House, the college thoughtfully addresses academic needs. For specialized science laboratory courses, Sattler leverages collaborations with esteemed institutions like the Harvard University Extension School and Northeastern University, ensuring students receive high-quality practical experience. With a close-knit community of just 93 students and a dedicated academic staff of 15, the college fosters an environment of deep learning and personal growth, complemented by leased dormitory options that provide convenient housing in the vibrant city.
