Savannah College of Art and Design

The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) stands as a beacon for aspiring artists and designers, renowned for its commitment to professional preparation in creative fields. Founded in 1978, SCAD quickly established itself as a vibrant hub for artistic exploration, offering a diverse array of majors from ceramics and graphic design to historic preservation and interior design. Beyond its historic Savannah campus, the university strategically expanded its reach with locations in Lacoste, France, for study abroad, and a significant campus in Atlanta that merged with the Atlanta College of Art. While its Hong Kong location was discontinued in 2020, SCAD pioneered an online learning program that consistently ranks among the best for bachelor's degrees, making quality art and design education accessible worldwide.
