Stone Child College

Stone Child College stands as a beacon of education, culture, and community on the Chippewa-Cree Reservation. Its journey began on May 17, 1984, when it was proudly chartered by the Chippewa-Cree Business Committee, a testament to the tribe's commitment to self-determination and education. A decade later, in 1994, Stone Child College received a significant designation as a land-grant college, joining a select group of tribal institutions recognized for their crucial role in serving their communities and contributing to national scholarship.

Under the leadership of President Cory Sangrey-Billy, the college lives by its inspiring motto: "Making our dreams happen with academics, culture, and commitment."
