Touro University Nevada

Touro University Nevada stands as a vital resource in addressing critical needs within healthcare and education across Nevada. Since its inception, this private, non-profit, Jewish-sponsored institution has been dedicated to community service and preparing the next generation of professionals. With its motto "To Serve, To Lead, To Teach," Touro University Nevada cultivates an environment focused on purpose-driven learning and real-world impact.

Established in 2004, the university began with an initial cohort of 78 medical students, quickly growing to become a cornerstone of the region's educational landscape. Its College of Osteopathic Medicine holds a significant place in history as Nevada's first osteopathic medical school and the state’s second medical school overall, marking a pivotal moment in the expansion of medical education within the state.

Today, Touro University Nevada is home to over 1,600 students pursuing a diverse array of degree programs. Many of these programs were the first of their kind in Nevada, including groundbreaking offerings in osteopathic medicine, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant studies, and even camp administration and education.
