Treasure Valley Community College

Treasure Valley Community College, a vital public community college, has been a cornerstone of education and opportunity in the Treasure Valley region since its establishment. Known for its accessible learning environment, TVCC is dedicated to serving the diverse needs of its community, providing pathways to further education and successful careers under the leadership of President Dana Young.

Its journey began modestly in 1962, holding afternoon and evening classes within the walls of Ontario High School. This humble start laid the foundation for remarkable growth. Over the decades, TVCC blossomed into a comprehensive institution, now boasting fourteen major buildings that reflect its commitment to modern education and student success.

This expansion includes state-of-the-art facilities like the Laura Moore Cunningham Science Center, officially opened in 2013, fostering excellence in STEM education. Further enhancing its academic offerings, the Florence Findley CTE building underwent a significant renovation in 2022, underscoring the college's dedication to robust Career and Technical Education programs. TVCC is more than just a place to learn; it's a dynamic environment where students can discover their potential, gain practical skills, and prepare for bright futures, supported by a rich history of community-focused growth.
