Trinity Bible College and Graduate School stands as a unique institution, deeply rooted in its faith-based mission to equip individuals for impactful ministry and service worldwide. Known for its comprehensive biblical studies, Trinity's foundation is built upon an extraordinary act of faith and a literal $1 acquisition that continues to inspire its community.

The journey began in 1948 as Trinity Bible Institute in Devils Lake, North Dakota. After several relocations, the college found its permanent home in Ellendale in 1972, acquiring the former campus of the North Dakota State Normal and Industrial School for a symbolic $1. This remarkable purchase was considered a divine "miracle" at the time, a story proudly recounted for years in capital campaigns that declared they were truly "building on a miracle." This foundational narrative underscores the college's enduring spirit and commitment.

Academically, Trinity offers a robust curriculum primarily focused on biblical studies, complemented by programs in business, intercultural studies, ministry, teacher education, and music. Demonstrating its commitment to advanced theological education, Trinity expanded its offerings in 2014 with its first graduate degree, a Master of Arts in Missional Leadership. This has since grown to include MAs in Rural Ministries and Global Theology. Further solidifying its academic prowess, Trinity gained approval in 2019 to offer a research PhD in Practical Theology, a significant milestone. The institution holds accreditation from the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
