Trinity Bible College and Graduate School

Trinity Bible College and Graduate School stands out as an institution deeply rooted in faith, with a unique history often referred to as "building on a miracle." Founded in Devils Lake in 1948 as Trinity Bible Institute, the college found its permanent home in Ellendale in 1972 under extraordinary circumstances. It acquired the campus of the former North Dakota State Normal and Industrial School for a symbolic $1, an event celebrated as a miracle that fueled capital campaigns for years to come. This foundational story underscores Trinity’s commitment to providing transformative education.

Academically, Trinity primarily focuses on Biblical studies, extending its robust curriculum to encompass programs in business, intercultural studies, ministry, teacher education, and music. The college has significantly expanded its offerings at the graduate level, demonstrating its commitment to advanced scholarship and leadership development. In 2014, it launched its inaugural graduate degree, a Master of Arts in Missional Leadership. This was swiftly followed by the addition of two more MAs in Rural Ministries and Global Theology.

Marking another significant milestone, Trinity introduced a research PhD in Practical Theology in 2019, equipping students for deep theological inquiry and practical application.
