Union Bible College

The college's rich history began amidst the turmoil of the American Civil War, when concerned Quaker families established Union High School in 1861 to provide a stable educational and spiritual foundation for their children. As the 20th century dawned, the institution adapted to changing needs, evolving under the vision of Quaker minister William M. Smith. In 1911, he expanded its mission by founding Union Bible Seminary, specifically designed to train aspiring ministers and missionaries, solidifying its commitment to service and leadership.
