The University of Arkansas Community College-Morrilton (UACCM) stands as a beacon of educational opportunity in Central Arkansas, a testament to growth and adaptability. UACCM's journey began in 1961 as Petit Jean Vo-Tech, established by the Arkansas General Assembly as the state's second adult vocational-technical school. Starting with diplomas in occupational-specific areas, the institution steadily expanded its mission. A significant transformation occurred in 1991 when it became Petit Jean Technical College, gaining degree-granting authority and broadening its curriculum to include technical, academic, and workforce education. The evolution continued with a name change to Petit Jean College in 1997, culminating in a pivotal merger in 2001 with the prestigious University of Arkansas System, solidifying its current identity as UACCM.

Today, UACCM offers a vibrant and diverse educational landscape.
