Over the decades, it grew, becoming a four-year institution in 1938 and eventually relocating to a sprawling 40-acre campus in Algiers in 1960. A pivotal moment arrived in 1967 when UHC opened its doors to men, further broadening its community and academic reach. In a significant re-establishment of its identity, the institution was officially renamed the University of Holy Cross in January 2016, marking a new chapter in its long and distinguished history.
