University of Valley Forge

The University of Valley Forge (UVF) stands as a beacon of Christian higher education, passionately dedicated to equipping students for lives of ministry and impact. Since its formal charter in 1939, UVF has cultivated an environment where faith and rigorous academics converge, preparing pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and Christian education workers to lead with purpose and conviction in a rapidly changing world. It's a place where spiritual growth is as central to the educational journey as intellectual discovery.

UVF’s remarkable journey began modestly in 1932 as a summer Bible school in Green Lane, Pennsylvania, growing through vision and dedication. Its evolution saw it transform from Eastern Bible Institute to Northeast Bible Institute and later Northeast Bible College, expanding its reach through mergers with other institutions. A significant milestone was its strategic move in 1976 to the historic Phoenixville campus, formerly the Valley Forge Army Hospital, which solidified its presence and led to its rebranding as Valley Forge Christian College.

Today, as the University of Valley Forge since 2014, the institution offers a robust academic portfolio. Students can choose from over 40 diverse undergraduate programs and nine graduate programs, all designed to integrate a Christian worldview with professional excellence. With accreditation from the prestigious Middle States Commission on Higher Education since 2002, UVF ensures a quality education that is both spiritually enriching and academically sound, preparing its 583 students (including 508 undergraduates) to make a tangible difference in their communities and beyond.
